Site Policies

  1. We are not liable for the contents of the sites to which we link.  We have made every effort to ensure they are respectable when we set up the link but they are owned by someone else who may change their policy without informing us.
  2. The aim of the site is, as stated elsewhere, to put facilities together that may otherwise be difficult to locate, therefore saving the visitor the time of searching for things that they may want and also to give them ideas that they may not otherwise have realised.
  3. We do not link to adult sites.  Some of the sites in the People>Self>Dating section may contain further links to such sites and occasionally to adult products.  We consider that the public interest of including ways for otherwise lonely people to improve their lives overrides any possible consideration that links from this site could end up linking to less savoury parts of the internet.  It is not that we are prudes but we hope to attract a wide variety of custom to the site.
  4. Some people may want to link to this site and generally of course we are happy for that to happen.
  5. If for some reason you link to our pages by Pay-per-click for the purpose of promoting a particular product, we ask that you abide by the PPC policies of each of the advertisers on your landing page, even those that are not your prime target.  In general this includes the trade names and any misspellings.
  6. Some shops specifically exclude email marketing so to protect ourselves, please do not use any of our pages for tbis purpose.
  7. If you want to know what are the exact policies, please ask us but bear in mind that we may change or re-order the contents of pages from time to time.  If we know that you are linking to us, we will generally be able to warn you that a page has changed or that we are about to change it.
